There are no scratches or dirt that affect wear. Natural scratches and dimples are proof of real pearls. Effort has been made to capture scratches in photos. Please understand that as used items, perfect condition cannot be guaranteed and some oversights may occur.
Product Disclosure — please read:
Cultured pearls. These are Akoya cultured pearls, grown by a pearl oyster with human assistance (not natural pearls).
Treatment. Akoya cultured pearls are routinely bleached and color-toned ("pinked") as standard industry practice.
Natural variation. Minor differences in shape, luster, and surface are natural, not defects.
Care. Keep away from perfume, cosmetics, and chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear and store separately from harder jewelry.
