No noticeable scratches or dirt, clean item. Pearl colors are subjective but generally white and orange. Pearl may have dings or scratches due to natural material. Pearl string may be prone to breaking over time; recommended to restring before use.

Cultured pearls. These are Akoya cultured pearls, grown by a pearl oyster with human assistance (not natural pearls).
Treatment. Akoya cultured pearls are routinely bleached and color-toned ("pinked") as standard industry practice.
Natural variation. Minor differences in shape, luster, and surface are natural, not defects.
Care. Keep away from perfume, cosmetics, and chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear and store separately from harder jewelry.
