The pearl is very lustrous and beautiful. There are fine scratches on the backside, but they are hidden when worn and do not affect overall beauty or luster. Chain is aftermarket but made from same K18 material, matching the pendant.

Cultured pearls. These are Akoya cultured pearls, grown by a pearl oyster with human assistance (not natural pearls).
Treatment. Akoya cultured pearls are routinely bleached and color-toned ("pinked") as standard industry practice.
Natural variation. Minor differences in shape, luster, and surface are natural, not defects.
Care. Keep away from perfume, cosmetics, and chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear and store separately from harder jewelry.
