The Mikimoto infinity pearl necklace with semi-round pink interference-color pearls. There are small scratches on the gold parts due to use. Irregularities on the surface of the pearls are present. Fine scratches and discoloration near the engraving are visible as it cannot be polished. There is fraying of the thread, but it does not affect use.

Cultured pearls. These are Akoya cultured pearls, grown by a pearl oyster with human assistance (not natural pearls).
Treatment. Akoya cultured pearls are routinely bleached and color-toned ("pinked") as standard industry practice.
Natural variation. Minor differences in shape, luster, and surface are natural, not defects.
Care. Keep away from perfume, cosmetics, and chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear and store separately from harder jewelry.
