The genuine pearls are slightly scratched and deformed but have a glossy appearance. The pearls include black spinel between them. The pearls are rose-toned and dark gray with color changes, the gray being iridescent. The rose tone is less red than in photos. The length is approximate; there may be slight errors. The clasp is engraved Silva and is new. No box included; will be carefully packaged for shipment.

Cultured pearls. These are Akoya cultured pearls, grown by a pearl oyster with human assistance (not natural pearls).
Treatment. Akoya cultured pearls are routinely bleached and color-toned ("pinked") as standard industry practice.
Natural variation. Minor differences in shape, luster, and surface are natural, not defects.
Care. Keep away from perfume, cosmetics, and chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear and store separately from harder jewelry.
