Used for about six months, occasionally, stored at home. Surface shows pearl characteristics of small pits (eyepits), but luster is very good. gray Akoya pearls are rare and highly recommended. No noticeable damage. As a used item, please refrain from purchase if you are concerned.

Cultured pearls. These are Akoya cultured pearls, grown by a pearl oyster with human assistance (not natural pearls).
Treatment. Akoya cultured pearls are routinely bleached and color-toned ("pinked") as standard industry practice.
Natural variation. Minor differences in shape, luster, and surface are natural, not defects.
Care. Keep away from perfume, cosmetics, and chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear and store separately from harder jewelry.
