This is a rare and high-quality necklace with thick layered Akoya pearls. Some pearls may have blemishes, color variations, and small scratches, which are normal for genuine pearls.

Cultured pearls. These are Akoya cultured pearls, grown by a pearl oyster with human assistance (not natural pearls).
Treatment. Akoya cultured pearls are routinely bleached and color-toned ("pinked") as standard industry practice.
Natural variation. Minor differences in shape, luster, and surface are natural, not defects.
Care. Keep away from perfume, cosmetics, and chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear and store separately from harder jewelry.
