The necklace has natural imperfections such as bumps and dents on the pearls. The top is removable. The chain is a modern design, adjustable length. The pearls are from natural stone, with slight variations in cut, color, and texture. Pearls are glued on (core setting). Water contact should be avoided.

Cultured pearls. These are Akoya cultured pearls, grown by a pearl oyster with human assistance (not natural pearls).
Treatment. Akoya cultured pearls are routinely bleached and color-toned ("pinked") as standard industry practice.
Natural variation. Minor differences in shape, luster, and surface are natural, not defects.
Care. Keep away from perfume, cosmetics, and chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear and store separately from harder jewelry.
